Course Description
The Python course is a great way to learn to program. Python is an excellent first language for students to learn programming. Python is an easy to learn, powerful language. Python has a very simple and consistent syntax and a large standard library and, most importantly, using Python in a beginning programming course permits students to concentrate on important programming skills such as problem decomposition and data type design.

With Python, students can be quickly be introduced to basic concepts such as loops and procedures. It has efficient high-level data structures and a simple but effective approach to object-oriented programming. Python’s elegant syntax and dynamic typing, together with its interpreted nature, make it an ideal language for scripting and rapid application development. Python is intended to be a highly readable language. It is designed to have an uncluttered visual layout, often using English keywords where other languages use punctuation.

Python uses whitespace indentation, rather than curly braces or keywords, to delimit blocks; this feature is also termed the off-side rule. An increase in indentation comes after certain statements; a decrease in indentation signifies the end of the current block.

Major features and applications why people choose Python as their first programming language:

– Python’s popularity & high salary
– Python is used in Data Science
– Python’s scripting & automation
– Python used with Big Data
– Python supports Testing
– Computer Graphics in Python
